why is bone health important?
Bone health is crucial for many reasons, and it plays a vital role in overall health. To protect vital organs and enable mobility, bones provide structural support to the skeleton. Bones also act as mineral reservoirs for vital elements like calcium and phosphorus, which play significant roles in various physiological processes. Additionally, bone tissue plays a role in hormone regulation, influencing insulin sensitivity and metabolism. Strengthening your bones is paramount to preventing conditions such as osteoporosis and improving your quality of life over the long term.
